How this score was reached

Well documented and readily accessible. This measures how well the network can be assessed and participated in: documentation, verification, cost of entry, maturity and operator risk. It is not a prediction of returns, and it reads nothing from token price.

What it does

How it works

Users purchase a Dabba Lite hotspot and pay an onboarding fee. A Local Cable Operator (LCO) in India then deploys and maintains the hotspot in a high-demand location. As paying customers consume data through the hotspot, the utility token (DBT) is burnt, and stakeholders who manage and maintain the network receive rewards.

How to participate

Purchase a Dabba Lite hotspot starting at $199, pay the $100 equivalent DBT onboarding/activation fee, select a Local Cable Operator (LCO) for deployment, and manage the hotspot and daily rewards via the Dabba Explorer.

Requirements

Hardware
Dabba Lite hotspot (Dimensions: 210mm x 140mm x 31mm, Processor: MT762AT, IEEE Standard: a, b, g, n, ac & ax).
Software
Dabba OS (pre-installed on the hardware).

Pros and cons

Strengths

  • Fully managed deployment model removes the need for hosts to physically install or maintain hardware
  • Empowers local cable operators (LCOs) in emerging markets

Drawbacks

  • Hardware is locked to the Dabba Network only
  • Initial ownership period is capped at 7 years with optional renewal

Risks

Requires upfront hardware purchase and activation fees. The physical hardware is deployed remotely in India, meaning the purchaser relies entirely on the project's LCO network for physical security, maintenance, and uptime.
