DepinScope is an independent research site covering decentralised physical infrastructure networks, the projects that pay people to run radios, sensors, storage, bandwidth and compute.

Why this exists
Most DePIN coverage answers the wrong question. It tells you a token exists and a network launched. It rarely tells you what the hardware costs, what the network actually requires of you, whether it works where you live, or how much of what you just read anybody checked.
Those are the questions that matter if you are about to spend money. DepinScope is built around them.
How we work
Every project entry is researched against the project's own website and documentation. Where the documentation states a figure, we record it and mark it verified. Where it does not, we say the figure is unavailable rather than filling the gap with an estimate that looks authoritative.
Every factual field carries the date it was last checked. Reward rates and hardware prices change constantly, and a number without a date is close to useless.
What we are not
We are not financial advisers and nothing here is investment advice. We do not run the networks we write about, and we have not personally operated most of the hardware we describe, and where we have not, we do not pretend otherwise.
We are also not a news wire. We publish less than a feed would, because research and verification take time and a piece that fails our checks does not get published.

DepinScope is a small independent team. Research is assisted by an automated pipeline that works from primary sources, and the editorial standard it is held to is set and reviewed by the people below.

Founder and Web Development Lead
Zaher Khan founded DepinScope and leads its development. The platform exists to answer a question the rest of the DePIN space mostly skips: what a network actually costs to join, what it requires, and how much of that anybody has checked.
That principle is built into the software rather than left to editorial goodwill. Every factual field on the site carries a confidence level and a verification date, and the publishing pipeline will hold a piece back rather than fill a gap with a plausible guess.

Research and Content Specialist
Aurangzeb Khan leads research and editorial work at DepinScope. That means going to a project's own documentation, working out what it genuinely commits to, and writing it up in a way an operator can act on.
A large part of the role is deciding what not to publish. Where a project does not state its hardware cost or reward mechanics, the entry says so plainly instead of reaching for an estimate.

Samran Khan handles search and audience growth for DepinScope, working on the side of SEO that is really about clarity: making sure a page that answers a question well is the one people actually find.
The approach is deliberately conservative. No tactics aimed at gaming rankings, because a research site that cannot be trusted has nothing left to offer.
