What it does
Nodle connects the physical world to Web3 by using smartphones as edge nodes. The edge nodes read devices and sensors in the physical world using Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and connect that information to the blockchain. Anyone with a smartphone can join the network and earn NODL, Nodle’s native token. The network operates through the Nodle App, which runs passively on users' phones, and the Nodle SDK, which developers can integrate into their own mobile applications to turn them into network relay nodes.
How it works
Smartphones running the Nodle App or apps with the Nodle SDK act as edge nodes. These nodes passively scan for nearby BLE-tagged assets and sensors. Once a tag is detected, the node forwards the encrypted, anonymous location and sensor data to the blockchain, creating an immutable activity ledger.
How to participate
Users can participate by downloading the Nodle App on their iOS or Android smartphone, enabling Bluetooth and location permissions, and letting the app run passively in the background to earn NODL.
